Visit from Mr. Bear

Recently, we had a special visit from Charlotte's class mascot, Mr. Bear. Mr. Bear came home in Charlotte's backpack, along with a journal to document all of his adventures with our family. On Friday, Mr. Bear met Lily's favorite bear Tickle Tickle. Good fun was had building with blocks.

Onto dot painting. Notice that Sammy is painting, too. He has been pretty vocal about letting us know that he is ready for art projects, lately.

On Saturday morning, Mr. Bear wanted donuts. Luckily, Auntie Kris gave us an apple cider donut kit for Christmas, so we were prepared.

Mr. Bear getting down to business, when no one was looking.

After some convincing, he decided to share with the kids.

Mr. Bear decided to start Sunday off with some board games. He has to stay sharp. After all, he needs to keep up with all of Charlotte's Kindergarten classmates.

After lunch, Mr. Bear suggested we go on an outing. We decided to head to the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

Mr. Bear felt pretty small compared to this life sized whale model.

There were several whale skeletons to check out. The museum was really interesting. Sam, Charlotte and I would have loved to get a closer look at alot of the displays, but sometimes, little ones are not that interested in the details:)

There was a model of a whaling ship built right into the museum. Everyone loved this part! Lily loved being on the deck, while Charlotte was fascinated with the bunks underneath.

Sammy is playing a whale matching game.
We sure had a fun weekend with Mr. Bear!
